Emraan Hasmi is one of the unique actors of Bollywood. Even though he got the tag of ‘Serial Kisser’ of Bollywood, he gave some of the great performances in movies like Awarapan, Shanghai and Tigers. Emraan Hashmi is also known for good music and memorable songs in his films. Emraan is one of the few actors who has always tried to keep himself away from media and lime light, so here are 5 interesting facts about Emraan Hashmi.

Emraan’s relationship with Mahesh Bhatt is a bit complicated, they do come from same family. Mahesh Butt and Mukhesh Bhatt are Emraan’s uncle and Mohit Suri the director of most of Emraan’s films is his cousin. Alia Bhatt is Emraan’s cousin too.

Some of you may not know this, but Emraan Hasmi is married. His wife’s name is Parveen Shahani and they got married in 2006. They have a kid also.

So it is obvious that Emraan Hashmi’s wife wouldn’t like to watch him kiss on screen or do any intimate scenes, but when accidentally she does catches some scenes in some movie that she was unaware of, then Emraan has to take her shopping to make it up for her.

Emraan started made his acting debut in 2003 with the film Footpath, where he did get some positive reviews for his performance and called a scene-stealer. However it was the idea of Mahesh Bhatt to make Emraan go bold and kiss on screen in Murder which brought him into lime light and made him a star.

Before making his acting debut, Emraan did work in Bollywood as assistant director for the horror film Raaz in 2002.
