While many of these heavily VFX based film still continues to disappoint fans and lacks the quality to match Hollywood standards, we have picked 6 Indian movies which are known for their stunning visuals.

Baahubali.

Directed by S.S. Rajamouli and starring Prabhas with Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah, the film has been one of the biggest blockbusters of Indian cinema and featured great work of VFX from creating stunning landscape scenes to battle sequences.

Robot aka Ethiran is another masterpiece in terms of VFX. Directed by S. Shankar and starring Rajnikanth with Aishwarya Rai, the film wowed audiences with it’s fine vfx work.

VFX Studio – Red Chillies VFX.

Starring Shah Rukh Khan, this Anubhav Sinha, film didn’t perform at the box office as makers were expecting but won numerous awards for it’s high quality VFX work which is still unmatchable.

Starring Sudeep and Samantha this film is based on a man reincarnated as a fly who goes on to take a ravenge. The film is directed by S. S. Rajamouli and surprised fans with it’s VFX work and storytelling.

ZERO.

VFX Studio – Red Chillies VFX.

Shah Rukh Khan is known to take things to next level and he did it again when he portrayed a vertically challenged man in this movie starring Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. The film won numerous awards for it’s VFX work.

RRR.

VFX Studio – Makuta VFX.

RRR is another visual treat for audience directed by S. S. Rajamouli which featured Ram Charan and JR. NTR with Alia Bhatt. While the film’s Oscar win for Best Original Score created much controversy as many found it was undeserving, the film’s VFX didn’t disappoint anyone and made everyone’s jaw drop.

Upcoming Kalki 2898 AD movie also looks promising and deserves an honorable mention for now as only trailer has been released yet.
