While achieving success in Bollywood is harder, it’s even harder to keep that success and career going and it seems these 5 actresses listed here couldn’t keep up their acting career like other Bollywood actors for various reasons. While Having some of the biggest blockbusters and iconic movies to their name, these actresses seems to have disappeared from films.
Ameesha Patel.
Ameesha Patel is known for one of the best and biggest debut of Bollywood with Kaho Na Pyar Hai and then went on to star in Gadar : Ek Prem Katha and Race movie franchise. However after Race 2 in 2013, the actress hasn’t done much work and is known for her social media posts these days.
Amrita Rao.
Amrita Rao has Main Hoon Na, Vivaah and Ishq Vishk to her credit but post her marriage with RJ Anmol in 2016, the actress hasn’t appeared in many films.
Bipasha Basu.
Bipasha Basu was one of the most popular actresses of horror and thriller genre and marked her name in Bollywood. Best known for Raaz, Ajnabee, Dhoom 2 and Jism the actress’ last film appearance was in 2015 released Alone.
Gracy Singh.
Gracy Singh has the iconic movies to her credit – Munna Bhai MBBS, Lagaan and Gangajal. But her last film appearance was in the Punjabi movie Chooriyan released in 2015. The actress currently works in TV though.
Preity Zinta.
Preity Zinta, the bubbly girl of Bollywood, also achieved much success in her prime career and appeared in films like Veer-Zara, Salaam Namaste and Kal Ho Na Ho. She was last seen in Deepa Mehta’s Canadian film Heaven On Earth released in 2008. She did a few song and cameo appearances after that.
